Google Pixel and Pixel XL-Overview

Google’s latest introductions, Google Pixel and Pixel XL, are very similar to one another. In this overview we will highlight the main features and the differences between these two phones, which promise to be quite a hit in the smartphones market.

For starters, when it comes to their design they are very similar, apart from the size. The Google Pixel XL, is as its name states, bigger than the Google Pixel. This difference in the screen sizes also leads to a difference in the resolutions. The 5.5inch Google Pixel comes with a quad-HD, 2560 x 1440 AMOLED panel. On the other hand the Google Pixel has a 5inch screen with a 1080p resolution.

Both phones come with the new Snapdragon 821 processor and a 4GB RAM. Neither one of them comes with a microSD card slot. Both of them will come running the Android Nougat.

The Google Pixel and the Pixel XL have a 12.3 megapixel rear camera. The Pixel XL’s battery is bigger than the smaller Pixel’s battery, and it has been reported that they should be able to provide some 7 hours of battery life after a mere quarter of an hour of charging.

These two smartphones are evidence that Google is taking the smartphone market a bit more seriously, and they will probably be doing quite well when compared to other smartphones available at the moment.
