Cycling can help to prevent serious diseases such as cancer. This is revealed in the latest research. According to the research, regular cycling can also avoided heart diseases and untimely death.

In this regard, the study has been published in the British Medical Journal. Researchers have said that going to office by cycling is more beneficial than walking. Regular use of bicycle reduces the risk of cancer by 45 percent and the risk of heart diseases is reduced to 46 percent. At the same time, risk of heart diseases decreases 27 percent due to walking.

Also, the risk of death due to these diseases decreases up to 36 percent. Walking does not reduce the risk of cancer. During the research, statistics of 2,64,377 people were studied, with an average age of 53 years.
